We all like good movies but is there any1 here who enjoys watching trashiest of the trash?

I recently got my hands on some amazing gems, I wonder if anyone here in Moscow likes watching these kind of movies.

Ok, the first one is Turkish Star Wars, it's amazing how bad this film is. Recently they made a new film based on the old one, it's really trashexploitation. I also got Brazillian Star Wars, haven't seen it yet but the screenshot says it all :)

If you're a martial arts fan, then I suggest watching The Crippled Masters. It's about two kung-fu masters, one has no arms, the other no legs :)

For the bloodthirsty types I recommend watching Erotic nights of the living dead, title says it all, or Beast in Hear, an ss horror camp or whatever:)

This other weird film I saw is called Gay n*****s from outer space, some random 25 min black and white film :)

If you like cheap porn, then Porno Holocaust is for you. It's an italian film about a group of people going to some island, where this zombie in a cheap mask kills them all. The film is so bad, that one reviewer said "..5 minutes of talking, 2 minutes of f***ing, 10 minutes of talking, 5 minutes of ..., 20 minutes of talking, 10 minutes of ...", etc haha.

That's all I've seen so far, it's kinda hard to find these films but the list can go on for ever. There are a lot of trashy films out there.

I was just wondering if anyone here in Moscow shares my tastes :)

:D Thanks for the laugh reading your post. I like good films but something like those would be good for a laugh over a few beers!

Me and my mate sat in a hotel room in Kuwait just after the war and critiqued Thunderbirds. What a laugh.

Did you ever see Fist of Yen? the movie within the movie Kentucky Fried Movie?

I most likely I didn't spell that right, but it's got Jane Fonda in it and it's a sci-fi flick, has to be one of the stupidest movies I ever saw.

Yup it's Barbarella 1968, with Jane Fonda.

Not exactly a trashy movie, but I've seen rambo 4, dubbed in Russian of course in a movie theater. What a blast Rambo mowing down ppl with the gun, so much fun in less then a minute. Just like sex I guess :lovepot:

'Fistful of Yen' is a 'must see' if you love trash! It's a really stupid film, and I think written and directed by the Zucker brothers, later of Airplane fame. Loads of good bits in it.

Other 'good' trash:

'They Call Me Bruce', and the sequel 'They Still Call Me Bruce'. Top stuff, in the first one, our hero delivers 'special flour' (i.e. coke) for the mob, including many a funny scene where people are sniffing each other all over to get any spilt 'flour', shorty followed by massively overacted stoned faces. High quality.

You may know 'Rat Fink a Boo Boo', which is a late 60's Batman and Robin knock off? It was produced on such a low budget that when they screwed up the titles, it was supposed to be called 'Rat Fink and Boo Boo', they just left it.

Another gem is 'The Creeping Terror', a no budget film about a killer carpet, which was filmed on such a shoestring that they couldn't afford sound, so they just shot the whole movie over whoever was talking's shoulder, and filmed the face of the other person they were talking to reacting (camply). Then, at the end, they overdubbed the whole thing.

Plan 9 From Outer Space, is worth a view, it's legendary amongst bad film fans. Bela Lugosi's performace is 'avant garde' delivering lines like:- 'Don't worry about Lobo, he's as harmless as kitchen' (which should have been 'as harmless as a kitten' but somehow stayed in). The whole cast looks like they are strung our on methadone, valium and temazipam, with absinthe chasers.

Worth seeking out, if you love the awful.

I hesitate in naming the obvious, but here's a title that fits the trash bill and is probably quite available, even in Moscow:

Showgirls.

The fact that this was an actual big budget film meant to legitimize the NC-17 rating (the U.S. 'X' or adults only tag) somehow makes it even better. Unlike some Ed Wood films or something like "Manos: The Hands of Fate" (also worth a look, although you'll probably only find the fine Mystery Science Theatre 3000 riff) there was actually a large amount of money poured into this one. What did it buy? Vegas dancing, several conversations about manicures and dog food, and lots of Saved By the Bell's Jessie Spano's breasts (and even more eye shadow, for that matter). I challenge anyone to watch the entire film without laughing once in a scene clearly meant for high drama.
