Hotmail drives me F*CKING NUTS!! :verymad:
I get a message with an attachment from someone who's in my contacts and it arrives in my 'Inbox' but i can't see how to open the attachment. In the 'Inbox' i can see the attachment but when i click on the message i can't.
It has happened before but i can't remember how i did it.
Nothing wrong with the attachment by the way, it's just the crazy way Hotmail handle attachments! Why?

I would have got rid of Hotmail ages ago but for my email address!!

Do you have Save as... option for attachments in Hotmail? Save then to your local HDD and open from there.

Hotmail has incorporated a variation of Microsoft Outlook into the program. I hate it, i'll have to find an alternative. :o

I use Yahoo, have a Gmail account I don't use (a must, thanks to the Android devices I own) as I'm most attached to my Yahoo account despite having issues with it regularly (lately). Have you tried using a different browser? :shame:

You certainly are fussy. Maybe you deserve hotmail

What is so important about a hotmail address ? Just copy|download your hotmail address book and then transfer over to google mail Gmail. Then, send out a notification of email address change.

I know that Robert but i've had it for 16 years and many people who aren't in my contacts have my address. People give my address to others. I sometimes get mail from people i have never met. If i don't get the mail i loose an opportunity.

Do you have much IT experience? If so, then have all of your email sent in a more detailed standard that will let you find what you're looking for much easier. If not, then I would suggest emailing hotmail or searching youtube for support/videos that will help you find what you're looking for.

i used hotmail for ages and ages, but now exclusively use mail.ru.

i went to check on my hotmail the other day but couldnt remember the password( i kinda know what it was but they changed the amount of letters passwords are)...so i did forget password and it sent a new one to my yahoo account i never use. went to yahoo and couldn't remember that password eith and guess what? It sends a reminder to my hotmail account! So i can't get into either email service. oh well.

I use hotmail as my primary email account; cannot fault it. Upgraded to the Outlook version a few months ago and it works like a dream.
