Hi I am visiting Moscow this week and see there are two Russian teams playing in the Europa League. I understand one of them is playing in Moscow. Can anyone please advise more details about going to this game and how I can do so. Also what are the best pubs to watch these games on if I did not actually go to the game

Many thanks

Lou

Rubin are playing Levante at the Luzhniki Stadium (metro Sportivnaya, go up the escalator at the front of the train and keep going straight on under the bridge - you'll get to the stadium easily enough).

Not sure exactly what the deal is with tickets, but there won't be much of a crowd so I'd assume you can buy at the ticket offices in front of the stadium. It's a 2100 kick-off, Moscow time, and the metro will still be running after the game (until about 1am). But it's bollock freezing out there, Luzhniki isn't the most atmospheric of stadiums at the best of times (and when there are more people on the pitch than in the stands ...) and Rubin specialise in playing dull football. I'd swerve to be honest. When I say 'not much of a crowd', I mean potentially hundreds rather than thousands.

As for the Chelsea game, I reckon most of the bars would be happy to put it on if asked - and a lot of the British / Irish bars will show it as a matter of course. Let me know which metro station is nearest to you - I'll try to give some specific venues / directions.
