Hi,

I'm looking for an apartment in Cherepovets for the next year, and I don't know how to begin searching. I looked at a couple of websites but only came up with one hit, which didn't look promising. How do Russians look for apartments? If I'm working in a university, is student apartment housing possible for me, or is it restricted to students (as in the US)?

Any advice would be appreciated.

As far as I know, student housing is for students only, unless there are empty apartments available at the mo. But before you make any harsh moves - try to imagine what a dorm in Cherepovets looks like. I would not risk it.

I'm a little late on posting, but, I've lived in Cherepovets for about a year with my wife who is Russian. I'm sure we could help if you still need it. You can message me if there questions you have about anything.
