Hello All,

I bank with Natwest in the UK and as I am here for not very long I have not opened a Russian bank account. Now my question is where could I withdraw money without much commission? At the moment I am being charged around 12GBP for withdrawing 200GBP!!

Any help appreciated.

Den.

I feel Natwest or Twatwest are pretty good!

Why the bad feelings?

I am surprised at that, if you are using your UK Account Debit Card in a Bancomat (ATM) to obtain Rubles.

You will be charged if you do this "across the counter".

I use a NatWest subsidiary. Using their AccountCard in Bancomats for Rubles, I don't get charged a Commision of Fee like that. Just an exchange rate plus something called ERTF that is about 0.37% to make up the GBP debit on my Account.

I was just making a gratuitous snipe at the banking industry.
