Dmitri,
Today I made my acquaintance with an advert you posted on the Expat
forum, in relation to finding an English teacher for you, your wife and
your daughter.
I have taught English for 7 years and have a wide arsenal of techniques
for the various aspects of undertaking English as a foreign language.
My main profession is composer and writer. I work mainly from home
producing various records for a large number of Russian and foreign
artist. However I have always been fascinated by accents due to large
numbers of sounds that can been altered depending on the region in
which you meet English. I therefore began by working with vocalists on
their pronunciation, effectively practicing elocution. This was almost
10years ago now and in this time I have had a large number of students
(children, adults) that I have everything from grammar to the melody
present in the English language.
Just to answer the native part of the question.
I grew up in England but my mother is Russian. I now live in Moscow but
travelled to Moscow many times a year through out my childhood. I am
therefore fluent in both languages.
Due to my line of work I have a relatively free schedule and perhaps
even lessons during the day would suite me best.
I charge 3000 rubs for a two hour lesson.
I hope you have a pleasant day and that I hear from you soon.
Kind regards
mark.
