Table tennis training, with a Russian professional player and coach. As I heard, it's the second most difficult sport (after figure skating).

Hi, anyone who knows a place or table tennis club in Moscow where walk-in ping pong enthusiast (amateur) can play on weekends? A metro station reference would be a good starting point when describing the location. Thanks.

not a hijack but an intresting factoid...

During the early 20th century table tennis was banned in Russia due to a belief that was held by the rulers at the time that playing the game had an adverse effect on players' eyesight.

Are you sure you're not getting mixed up between ping-pong and ding-dong?

table tennis, is nice sport and will gladly love to join plus you get to sweat alot so loose some extra calories but all you need is really a place to play and is pretty economical.

Anyway, to all concerned I use to coach bowling, I guess that's what we need in Moscow a nice expat bowling tournament, with some good sponsors for really good prizes of course. Bowling is really fun, getting exercise, meeting people gals and at the same time having beers.

I managed to find a Russian table tennis player. If interested you may send him email - tuscan9@yandex.ru
I usually have 1.5 hours of practice session/lesson with him on weekends. He is pretty good.
