Hi,

I've had a look through the forum and couldn't see anything that answered my questions, so apologies if this topic has been covered before.

I'm a sole trader in the UK, resident in the UK, paying my taxes here and working here as a designer for one main Norwegian client as well as a few minor clients over the course of the year. I invoice the Norwegians every month for the work I do and am treated as a freelancer by them rather than as an employee.

I am planning to go and visit my girlfriend in Moscow for a few weeks and was hoping to continue working for the Norwegian client while there. Can I do this on a business visa, or do I need a work permit? I will be physically working in Russia, but not for a Russian company.

I have previously visited Moscow on a business visa but didn't work while I was there.

Thanks in advance
Andy
