Hi there,
Does anyone know a charity shop in Moscow or a place to donate clothes for homeless? Thank you.

There are some suggestions in this (http://www.expat.ru/forum/buy-sell/31498-goodwill.html) thread.

The Salvation Army works with the homeless and socially disadvantaged in Moscow and throughout Russia and Eastern Europe.

Feel free to call Taganka Corps on (495) 678-0351 or email TagankaCorps@gmail.com

You can also check the Salvation Army website for Eastern Europe at:

so we decided to take things in our own hands and found a place that works with homeless people. We already donated some clothes and it was highly appreciated.

We can help you to take the clothes to this hospital or collect them from your home.

write me to sheltermoscow@gmail.com or pm me.

Thanks in advance!

You can always donate to the local branch of Red Cross. But you may not be sure that the homeless will get the donations as some of the RC employeesare extremely poor as well. At least, you will help somebody.
