I logged on today, 12.08.07, to unsuccessfully find referrals for a consultation with a health care specialist.

I'm flattered - really that you are ALL sorry about that.

But, why do answer so when there's a need for such a forum?

Evidently, you do not agree and think my suggestion is frivilous.

That's a pity, when you think about ex pats in a foreign country
and when there's a need for their health care there's no forum,
with no helpful suggestions, Moreover, and the moderator is sarcastic.
I think you attitude is suspect and " we are all NOT sorry about that!"

There is a Health & Medicines forum, so normally we'd suggest to ask or search something overthere.

Now, you will forgive me if I think that a health care forum is something very similar.

If you think that something should be in that forum, or if it should be structured differently, or something else, I would suggest you elaborate a bit...

Ask in the Health & Medicines folder, and you will probably be answered. And if there is no answer, probably you're the first one to find something out and the community will benefit by you sharing your experiences.

That's how a forum works.

Coming in complaining and telling that you want a forum without describing anything is not.

Constructive ideas get constructive thoughts and replies.

I'm amazed you are on this site so long, yet added so little to this community, then criticize ,I have asked Andy for help several times , and he has always come through and is helpful to every person. If you did the work and research on your own problem, you would solve it yourself. I know who you are you know who I am.... You are here in Moscow among the longest of all the people I know. You use people, you work as much as you can, get real health coverage for yourself, go on the internet and find a carrier pay the big premiums .Stop treating people like crap..... You are old, and you are alone because of your bad attitude.....Life didn't do it to you, YOU did it to yourself

you get more flies with honey than vinegar, but I guess your Mom never taught you this.

Learn another thing , the more you give the more you get.....

I have gotten help on over 95% of my requests....People constanly ask for my advice ,I help no questions asked ,what have you done for anyone but you ? I know you ,and the answer is N O T H I N G

You're a tough cookie, Kapione. The only problem I see is that he could have worded it better, and perhaps made an excellent suggestion. I think such a separate might be very big here.

Here's my idea. Admin ask for professional doctors, psychiatriasts, psycholigists, hypnotists, acupuncture specialists etc. In fact all those in some form of professional medical status to control one section in Healthcare. I am almost certain it will be big here, and perhaps give some fame to these professional, where some will contact them. Look at the magazines, newspars and telivision in UK. It's now flooded with famous doctors and medical specialists. There could be a great potential for both sides here. My prediction is that it could be very big.

Here's a suggestion of titles ASK THE DOCTOR!
Another section which will work ASK THE CHEF! get some chefs of course.

Why am I responding? Because I have another section I have thought of which I know will work on here. But I want to make this on another thread to be highlighted.

I popped a button on my jacket at 6:05 this morning and logged onto the site at 6:15 to unsuccessfully find a referral for someone who could sew it back on for me.

It is now after 11:00 and still no referals. I would think that admin could at least have opened a new forum to deal with this. I'm sure I'm not the only expat with this problem!
