Google Earth offers a powerful yet extremely easy-to-use digital globe that makes it a cinch to find a wide variety of geographical data for travel, business, or educational purposes.easy interface, 3-D effects, and they are even working on going from gray box buildings to 3-D real-like buildings.I found my house and my friend's houses.:D
Animation
You can select places or simply draw a path and then play an animation that will follow it. Or simply just measure the distance between point A and point B.
Public Transit
View Railroads, Subway lines and Bus routes along with all their stops. Or select multiple locations and have Google give you directions.

Google Earth is available for free download from Google Earth (http://earth.google.com)
Google Earth is an excellent unique software. It's free for personal use and perhaps it will not be another one like it for some time.
