thanks guys for your useful advices regarding the 'first dinner' )))... now it is time for the DVD...

since watching a movie is the last step before visiting the bedroom to show her the color of the bed sheets, i need to make a careful choice with the DVD to create the right and relaxing mood of the night...

so, waiting for your advices once more )))

I know the name might sound vulgar but it's not a porno or anything. Its a hilarious canadian erotic comedy that will make her wet for sure. Movie is called Young People ****ing. Trust me on this one.

@ mr z: i've watched that movie with my ex girl... the result was not that satisfactory at all ))

@ snawballer: i liked the idea of tv series concept... they are much shorter than the movies and time wise pretty efficient.. but probably married with children is not the best option, ha? ))

My choice "Manule d'amoure". Love text book. It's not a porno or erotic. But it's very interesting Italian comedy about different stages of love: Fall in love, crises, unfaithfulness, divorce and new relations. It's funny and romantic as well. I watched it with my future husband. At starting of our relations... in bed of course.:AngelPray:

Really? Shitty ex then. My result was more than satisfactory, but then again it probably had nothing to do with the movie itself.

different girls different reactions )).. it is never possible to formulate the success when it is a question of the girls...

how about some drama to make her cry and fall into your arms? :)

I'd recommend this movie: Be with You (2004) - IMDb
I'm absolutely sure, that neither of you watched it before and that you'll both be crying :)

not sure if you need that strong effect though, but drama is better then sex-comedy I think and it won't give away your real intentions :)

and you might also like this one:
(500) Days of Summer (2009) - IMDb@@AMEPARAM@@http://ia.media-imdb.com/images/M/MV5BMTk5MjM4OTU1OV5BMl5BanBnXkFtZTcwODkzNDIzMw@@._V1._SX91_SY140_.jpg@@AMEPARAM@@BMTk5MjM4OTU1OV5BMl5BanBnXkFtZTcwODkzNDIzMw@@@@AMEPARAM@@SX91@@AMEPARAM@@SY140

it says somewhere that this is a story about love, not a love story

it's not a comedy, no sex jokes... just a story that probably every guy has been through...

yeah, i tried 500 of summer before.. we were so much bored and decided to have some action even w/o waiting till the end of it.. so it really works )))

in this case, a comedy might be a better choice then :)

I wouldn't recomend showing a film on a first date if you're intending to get to first base. She's more likely to pick up her bag and go home when it's finished. She's not going to find out much about you watching a movie.
What's wrong with some relaxing soft lights and music, conversation and a glass of wine?

Another tip, if i may.
Don't put too much empahasis on the sex. Do you really have to score on the first date? If that's your main priority, more than likely she will pick up on it and you'll be unlucky.

thanks ladies and gentlemen!!

since i was seriously bored with watching my 'first meeting at home archive' many times, wanted to get some additional ideas from your side.

@Nobby, it was not the first date actually, it was first date 'at home'... and i believe movies work for the first meeting at home...

for whoever interested in my 'first time at home movie classics' list: when herry met sally, my boy, full monty, spirited away, im juli, cinema paradiso (in two parts please), soul kitchen, solino...

I might sound strange but I think that horrors work perfectly: if she is shy or smth, then she finds creepy moments a good excuse for throwing herself into your arms and it`s easy to move from the soothing to the action.

Comedies are the best choice. From what I recall about dating, laughing together is all important on the first date :bookworm:

I'd recommend:
In Diana Jones, and the Temple of Poon.
Great story, wonderful action, and has some amazing climatic scenes :)

this is not their very first date:whisper:, at least I have never heard about the first date at home

Activities on the first date should not inhibit conversation, so I would advise against watching any films unless conversation has totally dried up and you need to 'fill' the silence!

If you want to gather round a TV, play an XBox, Play Station game or Wii which allows for laughter and conversation, but make sure that you allow her to win! ;)
