Can you please let me know whether there are any theme parks in St Petersburg that I can take my kids to see. I am considering coming there for a holiday in September.

the amusement park “DIVO OSTROV” (http://www.divo-ostrov.ru/eng/engl_index.php)

and we have beautful historical parks wth palaces, monuments..... ts also good to show kids beautful places since childhood, to bring them up in estetic way..... its Letniy (Summer) Garden n the centre of Petersburg, park in suburbs - in Pushkin, Pavlovsk, Gatchina, Oranienbaum...... and our famous Peterhof wth fontains...... But if the weathe is bad in September it will be closed allready inext June

I want to warn Rapunzel that the oceanarium is quite small and can't be compared to, say, Monterey bay Aquarium. But feeding of sharks show (daily at 7 pm) might be interesting for kids (sharks are small and not scary).

I agree with you, oceanarium is not very big and exciting, but for russia it is fine. And if children never been to any okeanarium before the will enjoy.
