Hi all, I will relocate to Moscow in August next year together with my family (2 kids). We are hoping for a nice and fun time in Russia. We have lived in SE Asia, Middle East and Africa so Russia will be a whole new experience for our kids with snow and all. For my wife and I as well, since we havent seen winter in 15 years :reindeer:. Thanks and see ya.

Welcome, Goran, and your family!

I hope you'll really like to live here.

Although winters now are a bit unstable, sometimes frosty, sometimes "porridge under feet" (mixed snow+rain or melting snow) - I'm sure that you can visit Siberia to show kids REAL winter ;) Is your wife from Sweden also?

Hi Goran, welcome to the forum. The winter is not that frightening here in Moscow, but at times it can be severe.
