Moscow is cold and the central heating is on.
Beer is cold, too but you can order glintwein.
I drink tea and there is ice on the window.

Is it a natural balance of things or is that contrast bringing me melancholy?

JJ, why aren't you jolly?
Is it a harmony of inside and outside, too?
I am sad. It's not me. :(

Which is why some of us still run our air conditioners :). Finally, I am getting out of this office - great location, but problems with air circulation - best used as our conference room or as my personal office. I am just moving across the walkway.

I was once mooned like that by one of the tiger cubs at the zoo, a few months before they went to other zoos. What's more I had played with her when she was 6 months old :)

I go to the zoo at least twice a year - when the bears wake up in the spring and when the bears go to sleep in the winter (that means I'll go next weekend). Otherwise, I only go when there is something special - like the new white tiger that I've already seen twice over the past 2 weeks, or when the polar bears have cubs (once every 2 years, it seems - next ones should be born at the end of 2004 and shown in the beginning of 2005).
