and it's the last time for two weeks :grind::grind::grind:
they turn off hot water for 20 days :cry::cry::cry:
it's great that 9 of them I'll be away, but still ... Crazy crazy crazy
That's one more reason to join a nearby gym for you - at least i'll be able to have 1 proper hot shower :-) in the evening and excrutiating cold one in the morning

Small bathroom water heaters cost ~$200. Ain't good enough for a bubble bath but you can still take that hot shower whenever you want :)

actually there are these 2000rbls water heaters available at the rynoks. dont know, havent look at them, but I did see people purchasing them.

ive ben contemplating since they shut my water off this past friday

i'd say the cheap 2k ones are a bit dangerous. the chances of electrocution are small but they do exist.

small probability of death by russian standards. what like 1 in 10 :evilgrin:
i wouldn't try to put electricity close to water in any combination, shape or form.

no, I dont really see any problem here, I mean I do understand electricity and water doesnt mix, but there are more dangers out there, :ninja:

Gotta heat the water on the stove and mix it with the cold in a large tub - poor it over you manually. Not so nice but I can't imagine a cold water shower!:yikes:
