how is it working here?
Are there any parties for the expat members?
Maybe every four weeks?
When is the next one?
How get in contact with the rest of you? I mean, not virtually?
Please let me know.

But it wouldn't be so much of a rawk 'n roll party but more of a 20 second shuffle really.

Keep it on thread please guys, it was a valid question....

Just don't know where else the parties would be except amongst the vegetation in Haly's pants

As I see there are some places where people could meet each other from this forum.

But all depend on people: they would like to meet someone, they invite.

If you would like to arrange something, just let know and people could join you per their interests.

I love chinese cuisine and tea room, I have already meet some people here and I'm glad to continue to communicate with them and the new ones.

Kind rgds,
Olga aka Tonka

Excellent, at least we can go to a decent place this weekend. Hal's place is just so, dark and sweaty. Has the musty smell of an unused cellar.

Try the Meeting Point parties (http://www.meetingpoint.ru/), Wednesday nights at Coconuts (Myasnitskaya 15).

Back on thread Georg (sorry, got carried away with the thought of Hal's pants).

Parties, one of the guys on here often posts something about a regular sort of gettogether at The Hard Rock on Starry Arbat, never been so don't know what it's all about. Other than that you'd find impromptu "gatherings" of the expats at various pubs & bars in town. Depends who you get along with, who you meet as to which pub you'll end up going to.

Otherwise, the various organisations tend to organise proper "events", like for example last satruday was the Midsummer Ball of the Expat Football League at a hotel. So, keep your eyes and ears open and you'll soon find the right places to hang out.

Good luck.

 I think you should lose at least a lil weight to get some free space for guests an in order to enjoy playing there with some other kids :p

Yeah well Kshish if you moved over a little and didn't hog the middle area, maybe other people'd be able to get into his pants once in a while.

There was a massive expat party on 1st Sept 2001! ;)

The best thing to do is get yourself out there and mingle, go to all the regular haunts:

HR Cafe
The Boarhouse
Molly Gwynn's
Rosie O'Grady's
Silvers
The Albion

Like some have already posted there are organised events around Moscow, becoming part of 'the expat over 30's football league' will get you in the loop.
