Moscow is ok to work, but I plan to retire and stay in my small place at Pathos (Cyprus). London is great place, Glasgow spirit and people are terrific, Dingle (Ireland) is lovely... The question on the favourite place in the world is very difficult to a person who travelled a lot and had some unforgettable romantic stories in different places... :happymad:

You of all people know that there are no Man Utd fans in Manchester, you'll probably find the milkman there (wherever it is) supports the MIGHTY Reds ;)

Best place in the world on a day like this is under a nice duvet with a lady with long dark great smelling hair and smooth tan skin. Aw well, I guess the office will have to do for now, but that short day dream was a good one.

Got a few...

Siem Reap [Cambodia] and anywhere on and off the road between Poi Pet and Siem Reap. Heaven man, just absolute heaven the most beautiful skies I have ever seen over a red earth road.

Koh Chang [Thailand] or any small island in that area.

Montreal, Alina's patio with a good bottle of Red on a warm summer's night with friends.

All the cheap cheap cheap watering holes with great sang galbi sal in Korea and any Korean temple on Buddha's Birthday [Pomosa in particular], by far the most beautiful sight in terms of lanterns and wishes and hopes and dreams.

Ok, you've got me doubting...I was there during the summer, but to my knowledge it is so far north that it should never get really dark. Maybe a local can enlighten us and remove the darkness for good :)

Every place in the world has its own charm. Even Moscow today ;) The thing that makes you remember the place is usually the experience you had there. If you were there with some friends of yours, you had a good time etc, the impression of even the most boring place is wonderful.
As for me, I love Baltic states, especially Lithuania. Everything is so small, so comfortable there. The country reminds me a lovely dollhouse :sunny:

I loved the atmosphere there, the feeling that you get when you stay in a small hotel there, the air, the emotions. It's definitely NOT about the Elitny people.
It's all very personal, isn't it?
The places where you felt most comfortable (emotionally) are on your list of favourites, right?

Ahhhh, relieved, yes, for those reasons exactly the places listed on my favorite list are that for me. Sorry, I was pig headed. It is just that when I think pf Porto Rotundo, I automatically think Ruskie Standart someone has a villa there and we [the entourage staff and friends] were shacked up there, half of us at the Abi d'Oro, and the other half at the Cala Di Volpe for 10 days. It ranks as the strangest, most surreal vacation I think I have ever taken. At least they gave us a car :respect:

Definitely Gibraltar, on the top of the rock. The view, the echoing sounds of the town downhill and the tankers waiting in line for the passage, and the breeze - cold off one side of the rock and warm off the other. Very special place, feels different

Riga however has the world's best looking girls, after Venezuela. Those who say that the Russian chicks are the best must get on a plane to Riga. Flight is an hour, beer is a dollar-fifty and local dyevs are so ubelievably pretty and friendly  if ure not Russian
