I heard this from a pretty reliable source today that most of the consulates will soon no longer be offering service under 2 weeks. Please, tell me this is wrong! I know there are many inconsistencies between consulates as to what they require, but this seems a bit steep.

I can only begin to imagine the ramifications if all expat businessmen/women had to wait Two weeks for a Visa to be processed.

Also, all affected countries would surely change their procedures (tit for tat) for Russian's wanting a visa as well.

I can't believe it for one second.

No, neither can I, sounds like rubbish. Suddenly your "reliable source" isn't looking so reliable. You should think about firing him.

Yes- I sincerely hope it's wrong misinformation.

I dunno, all of the Baltics now do it in no less than 5 days. The consulate in Amsterdam only does it for legal residents of that country (imagine coming to Amsterdam from NY for your visa and being told you had to return home to get a Russian visa).

Wouldn't be the first time MID's screwed the pooch big time.

Milan, still 3 days.

Proper application of the correct fee will always produce superior results!
