View Full Version : Looking for Russian Jump wings

12-05-2005, 22:23
I've got a friend back in the states who apparently made some jump qualifying him for a set of Russian jump wings. Anybody have a picture of them, know where I can view a picture of them, or know where to buy them?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If those are the wings that you have in mind...

No, but those are nice too.

Actually, I'm just looking for the breast badge of a Russian paratrooper (desant). It should be the equivilant to the wings US airborne troops wear on the left chest of their uniform upon completion of jump school.

Images of US jump wings can be found here:

Does anyone know where to get the Russian equivalent?

Try Ismailovsky Park, where there is loads of this stuff, or the little kiosk at Belorusskaya that sells military clothing and badges. It's at the bottom of Butyrsky Val - if you follow the road under the bridge, as if you were driving toward Belorussky Vokzal, it's just on your left by the little shops selling produkty and flowers, next to a photographic shop.
