Anyone out there know of or have a link to the working/daily hours for the Russian consular section in Helsinki? Thanks

They are open from 09.00-12.00. If you want same day service, you need to get everything in by 10.00. Lines are usually not long at all, but if you want to be sure, you should be there no later than 08.25.

Yeah, Monday to Friday. Just walked out of there yesterday. They do require HIV if you're doing a yearlong, but they didn't seem at all interested in insurance (if you're a US citizen). The one day service is nice.

They're about 5 minutes outside the center and a taxi from the train station should cost you about 10 Euros. Also, equally easy is taking the 3B tram from outside the Stockman's store. Get off at the Olympia boat terminal, take a right up the first street to your right and walk about 150 meters.

All in all, it was one of the more painless visa places I've visisted recently.

How much did they sting you for that old son? and was it an overnight, same day, or week long service for you?
