Another preacher with too much time on his hands.

You know, somehow I don't think I can afford to put in 2 hours of work and then bugger off down the beach for a few hours of surfing every day.

Ok, so substitute surfing with, say, skateboarding down Tverskaya at 6.30pm as a hobby, just for arguments sake.

Jackson "licked boy's head"
Monday, April 11 2005, 20:58 BST -- by Daniel Saney

Michael Jackson's former publicist has testified that he saw the star lick a boy's head. The boy's family reached an out-of-court settlement with Jackson in 1994.

Bob Jones, Jackson's publicist from 1987 until his dismissal last year, said that he did not remember the incident. However, with reference to emails concerning a book Jones is writing which mentions the licking, he admitted: "I would not have made it up."

Prosecutors also learned from co-author Stacy Brown that he had spoken about the incident on numerous occasions, explaining how he had seen the star lick the boy's head whilst travelling on an aeroplane from the 1993 World Music Awards in Monaco.

Prosecutor Gordon Auchincloss called upon the manuscript to the upcoming book, The Man Behind The Mask, quoting excerpts describing how Jackson and the boy were "holding each other tightly" in an "almost romantic embrace" engaging in "cooing" and head-licking.

Jackson asked to sleep with teenage boy
Monday, April 11 2005, 21:18 BST -- by Daniel Saney

Michael Jackson pleaded with a mother to let him sleep with her teenage son, the court heard today.

The mother, whose son was central to 1993 molestation allegations against the star, testified that he spent weeks at their home during which he asked to be allowed to sleep with the boy, then 13.

After granting the request, she received a Cartier gold bracelet from the singer.

The alleged victim stopped speaking to authorities about the matter after receiving a $23m settlement in 1993 and is not listed as a witness in the current child molestation trial.

The mother described how the star and her son met at the office her ex-husband's car rental business, leading from a telephone relationship to family invitations to Jackson's Neverland Ranch and for Jackson to visit their Santa Monica home.

When staying at their home he apparently slept in the boy's room, generally leaving the house when the boy went to school, not to be seen until his return. After becoming concerned about their relationship, the mother confronted Jackson.

She told the court: "(He) was spending too much time with Mr. Jackson. I was getting upset. (He) didn't want to be with us. He was sullen," she testified. "He (Jackson) was upset that I wanted my son back. I didn't like the situation. It was getting out of hand.

That doesn't devalue their statements, ie it doesn't make them liars, it makes them immoral, criminal and p*ss poor parents. That doesn't make the perpetrator any less suspect or guilty. Just 'cos the parents said "go ahead do your worst"

He calls a good friend up and tells him the problem. His friend says I know 2 lawyers one is the best at a closing speech and the other is the best at choosing a jury. Clem opts for the lawyer who is best at choosing a jury.
The day of the trial comes and the Judge reads out the charges....'Clem your neighbours saw you having sex with your goat and indeed when the police officer arrived at the scene the goat was observed licking your testicles clean'.
At this point one jury member turns to another and says "you know a good goat will do that...."

But, what we are seeing here and elsewhere is plain good old fashioned human ego - people are condeming him and saying it's disgusting and such like for the simple reason that they want to appear outraged and moral, in fact they are trying to make themselves look holier than thou, it's pure ego, it has nothing to do with sympathy or a desire to help the alleged victims. It's still exhibiting some of the more base traits of our race. The guy is still on trial and you lot are beating your chests and letting us all know how angry you are and what you would do to him if....

If you are so concerned do something about it, set up a help group for victims, become a lawyer specialising in this, train as a social worker, I don't know, but just gathering together and making a load of noise and threats about a man who, at this moment has not been found guilty seems so macho, what's next? Here's the latest...
From BBC

Jackson accuser family 'harassed'

Jackson denies the allegations against him
The stepfather of Michael Jackson's accuser has said his family was harassed and offered bribes to help rebut a damaging documentary.
Jay Jackson said one of the singer's associates offered to give Gavin Arvizo and his siblings a house and a college education if they agreed to co-operate.

He also claimed that the family had been harassed, receiving incessant phone calls.

Michael Jackson, 46, denies charges of molesting 13-year-old Gavin.

If found guilty, he could face up to 20 years in prison.

'Distressed'

Jay Jackson described events surrounding the broadcast of a UK TV documentary on the star by journalist Martin Bashir.

In the programme, Michael Jackson described sleeping in the same bed as Gavin.

Jay Jackson said that after the documentary was broadcast in 2003, he was visited by a number of British newspaper reporters.

He told the court they wanted his wife and her children to sell their story regarding their relationship with Michael Jackson.

The family was offered money, he said, but they turned it down.

He told the jury there were constant phone calls to the family home from an associate of Michael Jackson's - sometimes as often as a call every 15 minutes, he said.

He said the associate wanted the family to take part in a video about the pop star that was intended as a rebuttal to Bashir's documentary.

Asked about his wife's mood at this time, he said she was distressed and disturbed.

"[She] was somewhat emotional," he said. "She was crying and she was sitting in the closet having these conversations with [the Jackson aide]."

Changed behaviour

The mother and her three children did go to Michael Jackson's ranch Neverland to make the video, which has never been broadcast but was shown to the jury.

The family claim they were held captive at Neverland until they had made the video.

When they returned home some three weeks later, Gavin's behaviour had changed, his stepfather said.

"He had become mean, he was using curse words. He had never done that before," he said. "He was acting very cocky, kind of rude actually."

Jay Jackson will continue to give evidence at the pop star's trial on Wednesday.
