I need some advice. Last week I had to get a few stitches above my eye....*don't ask*...;) Anyway, it's time for them to come out now, but I'm REALLY too busy with work to go to the clinic, which closes at 7:30pm (I get off work at 7pm). SO what should I do? Are there any other clinics open later? Or could I just cut them off myself? Bad idea??? It's the first time I ever had stitches in my life and I don't want to ruin my face :agree:

Word of advice, don't leave them in longer than recommended. They will scar.

Doesn't answer your question though, sorry!

Moved to medical folder...

I think that the American centre, SOS, Euro centre etc are all open 24 hours...

100 grams vodka
pair of tweasers

not necessarily in that order or/and ask a friend

Or I'll do it for the vodka :)

Its no problem, to remove the fiber yourself, when the wound has healed out. I did it a few times myself. I doesn't even hurt when you are careful.

Stitches are easy to remove. Just make sure you do it firmly, yet not abruptly. They'll pull out rather smoothly in most cases. Moisten the area around the stitch with hot water, wait a few moments, then get your tweezers.

I've removed my stitches plenty of times. Even stitched myself once or twice :)
