Hey everyone,

I was wondering if anyone out there knew of any interesting beer drinking spots around Moscow. I am particularily interested in micro-breweries (if there are any) or anywhere that I can find some more interesting, less run of the mill, beers to drink.

Any thoughts?

I'm sure that there are others but the only microbrewery I know of in Moscow is Tinkhoff, just up the street from the British Embassy entrance.

I would suggest you "Temple Bar"

I agree with Flakey that this is a nice place to have a drink and a nice restaurant with a pretty good menu but I thought you were looking for a microbrewery?

There's a great place either at Oktyabrayskaya Polye or Polyzhaevskaya on the purple line - can't remember the name but damn good...

They sell "live" beer in liter bottles straight out of kegs - they fill them up right in front of you - reasonably priced, too...

I'll try to find some more info...

Yes, Tin'koff has own microbreweries... But I like another ones too:
http://www.durdin.ru/ - has own sorts of beer and strong drinks.
http://www.pivnaya01.ru/ - doesn't have own sorts, but funny interior, dish names etc.
