Does anyone who is a runner on here know anything about the Moscow marathon? Is it in September? and how do you register and where does it start? Do you need to provide all kinds of papers to join it such as medical records?

I would be interested in doing it for fun. All feedback appreciated. Thanks. :duhhhh:

drwho,
Did you ever try to use Yandex?
http://42km.ru/mmmm - registration form for RF citizens.
http://russianmarathons.com/reg/?marathons=1 - registration form for rest of the world.

great link!

i considered doing the volgograd marathon here but they only announced 1 week before and the entry was steep...these other marathons are priced fairly.

this one looks like it would be the ultimate though:

2 yakspeare:
it would be the ultimate though: - maybe. I was at Baikal several times, once at Red Army Day at 2007 - it was nice, and weather was not very cold (-18...-20C). They offer driving at dog teams there.

BTW there is not a bad night club called Akula, worth to visit:

That time they've organized nice program for Army Day - military field cookings near the entrance (100 g + buckwheat porridge with meat for every visitor), "dembel'sky poezd" inside, great show with striptease (including shower cabins), good drinks and food.

Thank you. - welcome. Try to call or contact the in advance, if you have TRP/PRP, maybe you can be treated as RF citizen (registration dates are 3 days for RF and only 1 day for foreigners).
