Hi,

I recently moved to Moscow. The flat that I'm renting has the usual crapload of IKEA furniture, and I just cannot stand the bed.

So, I'm looking to buy a bedframe and mattress. Where should I go shopping? I need a normal queen size bed, with a box spring, but all the places I've looked so far have questionable quality.

Where should I look? I'm also open to buying a used bed frame, if I can find one.

Problem? Why not to go to one of furniture stores and find what you want?

It sounds like what you really need is a new mattress.

I recommend Consul (http://www.consul-holding.com/content/consul/stores/). They have a wide range of prices, firmnesses, fillings, and coverings. Made to order.

This is a very old follow up but--- over the years I've bought several mattress from mattress.ru. They manufacture them so you can have one made to your specsl They have a showroom to check things out. - great mattresses at fair prices - the best I have found in Russia by far.
