Hey folks,

I have a friend who doesn't have internet at home and he's just dying to play football (soccer). Are there any get togethers just for fun? He's tried getting games together but all of us at my company have disparate schedules and live pretty far, but something on the weekends would be great. He lives by Rechnoi Vokzal but I'm sure he'd be willing to travel to have some fun playing his favorite sport. Is there some informal "club" he can join? Thanks!

Hi Nadyushka,

Maybe you could send a private message to Max77, he has organised football games among expats and locals and knows several good contacts. He'll know what's happening at the moment for example. Your friend must be looking forward to the World Cup next month. :soccer::soccer:

Thanks, pjw!
I am flattered.

I'll be more than happy to help out, although right now I am not playing the game myself - I broke my arm badly while playing at a corporate tournament in march and spent a few months home on a sick list.
:redcard:

Now I try to stay away from any sports activity and will be doing so for at least half a year.
