Hi everyone,

The Bourgeoisie is one of my most favourite weekend breakfast places.

What is yours - and why? I would like to try out a few more at reasonable prices, would also be nice to have free WiFi.

Thanks :)

Depends on which type of breakfast you want of course but for a full English breakfast they used to serve a very good one in Silver's Irish Pub.

I would also be interested in knowing where this Bourgeoisie is located and in which price range it falls in to.

I thought it was near Lubyanka . . . like between the Sedmoi on Bolshoi Lubyanka and Sretenski Bulvar?

Never eaten there, however.

mhmmm egg mcmuffin :)

Actually, many a morning on the way home after a night on the lash i've stopped for breakfast at McDonalds. For the price it certainly wasn't bad! :)

Silver's definitely does a good breakfast.
The diners do excellent breakfasts, including Warren's English sausages.
I generally find the hotels are a bit barren and characterless, although the brunches always used to be fun at the National.

The Most restaurant used to do breakfast, but I think they don't any more.
Le Pain Quotidien will do you a good French-style breakfast, with excellent croissants.

The Bourgeoisie is excellent value, I agree.

I'll ask my gf once she gets back this evening where exactly the Bourgeoisie is located... she actually took me there a year back and we still like to go back every once in a while.

Last Sunday we ended up in Le Pain Quotidien (already mentioned in this thread) and we had the "bread breakfast" for 2 which is really excellent value for money and supertasty (around 250 RUB only for a basket of different kinds of bread plus butter and jam and 2 coffee). We'll definitely go back to try the French breakfast, which was around 350 RUB for two people. They have several locations, we were at the one close to Tverskaya. I know they also have one in the Evropeskii mall.

tgma: where is "Silver's"?

Yes! That's the one. I like the Spanish breakfast there.

It's not Tverskaya, though the address says so.

It's on Nikitski (sp) Pereluk, first left after The Ritz Carlton and La cantina, coming from the kremlin.
