Isn't the cathedral on Malaya Gruzinskaya a Catholic one?? Great architecture at any rate!

Yes, the one on Malaya Gruzinskaya is Catholic.

St. Mary's, the Cathedral along Malaya Gruzinskaya is Roman Catholic and has a service in English at 3pm on Sundays held by an Irish priest called Father Michael. However, sometimes there are not that many people so the service is occasionally held downstairs in the Oratorio, go through the main entrance and then take the stairs on the left handside. The Cathedral is halfway between metros 1905 Goda and Barrikadnaya.

Don't mean to be picky, but the church's full name is actually "Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary."
