Hi all,

I'm looking to go to St Petersburg for a weekend (6th - 8th November). Can anyone recommend a good hotel in the centre? My budget is around 100/night, maybe a bit more.

Ideally within walking distance to The Hermitage and airport transfers will be a plus.

Thanks in advance.

I would say that it is worth leaving next to Nevsky Lane.

That is the main street for walking and it leads to Ermitage.

I would recommend Dostoyevsky hotel where the prices are bit more then 100 EU in low season (november is a low one).

The distance from Ermitage is around 30 minutes on foot.

I stayed there 3 times at least and was quite satisfied.

I will PM it's site to you.

Besides there are many small hotels next ot Nevsky.

I actually prefer hotels, not ex-appartments became small hotels, but if you need, you will be able to find.

I have just stayed in Happy Pushkin, which was quite good (20 mintes of walk to Ermitage), but the hotel is an ex-appartments house.
