I found a great Chinese restaurant located in the Kitai Gorod area. First off, the staff are attentive and efficient (something that CANNOT be said for most Moscow restaurants). They are also equipped with wireless electronic order panels which send your order immediately to the kitchen so we waited no longer than 10 minutes for each of our dishes. The dim sum was excellent... big, juicy pieces of various seafood in a delicate wrapping... not that hard doughy stuff most places serve. And the noodles were good too and came in decent portions. While not the cheapest Chinese place (especially compared to all the Chinatown places back home) it was fairly reasonable. A beer, two glasses of wine, dim sum appetizer, chicken spring rolls, tom yum soup and 2 noodle dishes came to just under 2,000 rubles.

I second the recommendation. The spring rolls were excellent. I enjoyed the Dim Sum as well tho thought the noodles so/so. Prices good for Moscow:11109:

Could you please provide how the restaurant is spelled cyrillics.
The Google sends me to 3368 Chichester Ave, Upper Chichester, PA, United States‎ when I search for "Chi Restaurant"

It will be nice if you post your feedback!
Until now, the best Chinese restaurant in Moscow for me is China Dream - Kutuzovsky, 71.

Sadly I did not manage to go to Chi for dinner. will put a review once I find time to go there for a meal. :)

On the other had, I went to Om cafe along Novy Arbat 2 weeks back, the place has an Indian theme, with all the guru pictures hanging on the wall and there are a lot of Ganesh (elephant god). But I was pleasantly surprise that the tom yam soup is not that bad. Spicy and hot. They also serve chinese-like food and the thai chicken curry is up to expectation. Did not know what is the damage to the wallet as it was a treat by my friend :)

finally I made it to Chi for lunch last sunday. It was a nice, pleasant restaurant, with a modern chinese theme.

I ordered assorted dimsum, crispy duck noodle and tom yam soup.

Dim sum taste good, better than some over-the-top places that I have been. definitely not authentic chinese, but the chef has manage to make-do with what available in moscow and made it quite tasty. What is most important is that the dim sum arrive steaming hot. (very important)

The crispy duck noodle is good. I like it. Reminds me of the crispy noodle with seafood I get back at home.

As for the tom yam soup, don't bother to order.

What's nice was that a waiter spoke mandarin to me.:)
