It's been reported that Russia's Prime Minister, Vladimir Putin, has been raising eyebrows by telling one of the country's most famous artists how to paint better.

Visiting 79-year-old artist Ilya Glazunov, Mr Putin stopped in front of a large painting of a medieval knight. "The sword is too short," he is reputed to have said. "It's only good enough for cutting sausage."

Perhaps the art community, and other members of the public, could tell Putin how to run the country better in various regards...

About the sword mentioned - I think it only describes how subservient is that old-aged painter. If he hadn't been willing to correct his painting immediately, it could have passed for a joke. I am sure PM Putin didn't mean to correct it, it was just a joke from his side.
About Deripaska - good for Putin. Good job he did. Journalist says it was an insult for Deripaska. I think it's not. It's just the PM doing his job. Properly, imho.
