I thought the Christian faith teaches to forgive those who commit sins against them or their fellow man, which is why I had to post this article as it has never been an isolated incident. I realize this is more than contentious, however, interested in hearing your thoughts...

There is a coincidence - Russian well-known businessman made interview on finam.fm (Финам FM Герман Стерлигов - архивный выпуск программы Они сделали это! (http://finam.fm/archive-view/1101/3/) but inly in russian)
He is orthodox christian and being this way he suggested to prohibit abortion, to whip those women who made abortion and give strong sentences to doctors who help them with abortions. This is because is such a tough time like crisis Russia needs people. This is two words. His speech was much more emotional.

My understanding - nobody can take decisions for somebody else.

It certainly is a contentious issue, and I'm not wholeheartedly in favour of abortion.
I understand why some people are violently opposed to it - killing babies is a heinous thing to do. But at what point of embryonic/foetal development does it become a baby? When does a tiny lump of cells become a human being?
When we see pictures of embryonic development, at what stage do we stop saying "that's a prawn" and can no longer deny that we see a "baby"?

This issue really has nothing to do with Christianity since nowhere is it clearly defined in the Bible where life starts or abortion prohibited. I've looked ....and I have even made a phone call to the 700 Club once to ask them where I can find in the Bible this stuff..........they hung up on me!

This is the way I see it:

If religious people say abortion is OK to save the life of the mother......then abortion is never any of their business. The mother should decide.

If religious poeple say that abortion is never OK, even to save the life of the mother......then I say to them, stand back or I'll blow you f'ing head off, we'll make this decision here, my wife not is dying because you are stupid.

The pics are absolutely heartbreaking, and as contentious as this topic may seem there must be valid reasons as to warrant abortions that are not as simple as a picture of an aborted fetus.

Perhaps I should post you a few pictures of dead mothers who died in labor. Would that make you happy? Don't forget that mothers often leave motherless or orphaned children behind that will have no one to take care of them, not to even mention a grieving husband. While fetuses leave nothing and none is injured by the fact that they don't get to be born. It seems a little irrational to spend so much time worrying about the fate of the unborn especially while ignoring the hardships of the already living.

Pat Robertson only accepts calls from contributors.

When it looks like a baby. No need to call the 700 Club.
