Thanks to all who turned out yesterday for the Federal Write-in Ballot Party. Around 15 people showed up to make their voice heard.

Special thanks to Peter Shay of US Citizen's Services for the long day he put in, attending Balloting gatherings from morning (American Women's Organization) 'till evening (with us).

Thanks to Mark Sleboda (also DemsAbroad co-chair) for the work he put in preparing for this event.

Lets just hope we won't have to suffer four more years of Bush. But we've done our part.

I'll second a huge "Thank You" to all involved. If it weren't for you guys, I might have lost my right to gripe about my government for the next 4 years!

haha!

I almost went, until I saw that it was "Democrats Abroad" and not "Democrats AND Broads".

That would be the Clinton-Gary Hart ticket.

I hope you were not expecting to see Mrs Kerry and Mrs Edwards topless!

Whenever Monica's back from the dry-cleaners

True story: the Israeli affiliate of Unilever ran a detergent commercial based on a spoof of the Monica story.

Actually we had more like 30+ people at the voting party.

And between the AWO meeting in the morning and the voting party last night we helped more than 150 Americans fill out FWAB's and vote.

Thanks all and double thanks to Peter and everyone else at the embassy.

Yes, about 30 people, but only 15 ballots.

In case you missed them
Links to the MT article on DA Russia from today. Front page pic I think.
-although I can't say much for their anti-Putin, pro-oligarch, pro-Chechen editorializing - they have always been good to us
