I believe Kapione is experienced in this area. I at first thought that you could only get a work permit from a registered employer. But now I realise that this might not be the case. so please please speak up for those who know. We want knowledge, not someone trying to profit from us. Let's discuss.

My knowledge incidently is open to you all guys and will give you all info you need.

Work Permit cannot be applied for by an individual. The application has to be made by an employer only....and the employer at that time has to have quota to employ foreign Nationals. (The quotas are also classified by Nationality.)

Hence an employer having quotas for employing say US citizens cannot use these to apply for Chinese Workers.

What about those with TRP and permanent residency in Russia. Those with TRP. Can they apply for a work permit themselves?

You can also apply to be self employed and apply for an enterpeneur's license. You will be responsible for paying your own taxes at 6%.

When you get permanent residency you won't need to apply for a work permit.
