I have just been informed that to renew my work visa that every page in my passport must be translated by an "official" translator and then be notorized.

When was this requirement announced?
Where can I find the Official legislation / requirement?

Thanks

No, that's certainly not true. You obviously need the page with the photo, and probably the front page. But there's no way they'd make you translate every single page, with all the exit and entry stamps. The translation's easily done, go into any translation agency and they'll have it ready in a couple of hours, with the notary stamp. There's one on Novy Arbat for example, on the side of Metelitsa, it's got a big yellow sign.

Get a new agent. There is no such requirement.

There is only one procedure where you are required the translation of your whole passport every single page: that is acquiring RF citizenship
