Bear, you need at least three bottles...
One pint is... like a red rag to a bull... You'll become like a bear with a sore head...

At the Smolenskaya end of the Old Arbat...

Once drank about 10 drinks in there and was as sober as a judge...how they manage to take the alcohol out of absolutely everything I'll never know!

Confused.... HRC ever closed? When and why?

U mean HRC...right, now I understand.

DPG -- went there when they first opened, and had the supersize Long Island Iced Teas, which did me in. Went back a month or so later, and they had decreased the volume of the drinks considerably. Last time I was there, they had the mini-drinks...for the same price?! What's up with that? Haven't been back since...

It comes to something when a Hard Rock Cafe is so heavily praised....

Praise indeed! Wail till you the waitresses clamber onto the bar to dance to YMCA ! A funnier spectacle on a Wednesday night there is NOT in the whole of Arbat!

HRC already screwed the pooch. They came in hard and strong, built a good base of regular customers, then disappeared. It will be extremely difficult for them to bring them back. They're food's great and I had some of the best times in moscow in that joint. I dunno, though.

Now that I live within walking distance of the HRC, I'm there all of the time. It's just darn convenient. I only wish that they started serving some good beer, like maybe Paulaner. I hope that they come back strong. I'd love for them to stay right where they are. Their souvenier shop also makes for great Christmas gifts. Everybody wants that stuff in the US!

i feel remiss. i noticed the adds in the Moscow Times a couple weeks ago advertizing the fact they're back to 24/7 hours of operation. but i figured everyone else saw them as well....

The Kerry version - would that be like a Sam Adams Pale Ale at a democratic price? If so, I'm in.
