Has anyone got a police check legalised by the UK Foreign Office? (Apostille)

If so, is their stamp on the actual criminal record check, or on a separate document?

Is everyone using this service?

Documents we can legalise (http://www.fco.gov.uk/en/about-the-fco/what-we-do/docs-and-legal-services/legalisation/legalising)

If so, any problems witn acceptance in Russia?

Bye,
Marc

The stamp (apostille) is on the back of the document.
Problems? Scrutinise the mandatory Russian translation very carefully (I and several other forum users have commented on this elsewhere).

If you're planning on going to the Legalisation Office personally (which will save you a very long wait and a lot of worry as to whether the Postal service will eventually deliver the document to you), you'll have the opportunity of admiring British postwar urban planning and 1950's sculptures (concrete cows), as the office was scheduled to move in September from its traditional site on the Thames embankment a stone's throw from the mother of parliaments to a new location in Milton Keynes.

I have done mine at Milton Keynes office early this week.

There is Foreign Office Seal on the original and a sticky paper stuck at the back of the original document with all details.
