Great Kremlin Palace
From Moscowiki
The New Imperial Palace, later called the Great Kremlin Palace (part of Kremlin), or Bolshoy Kremlevsky Dvorets, was built in 1838-1850 by order of Nikolay I to replace its ramshackle ancestor. Designed by team of architects led by Konstantine Ton, this Palace integrated the buildings of the Faceted Palace, Terem Palace and some others to form a new Moscow Imperial residence, where the royal family stayed while visiting Moscow. Now this yellow and white building in “Russian-Byzantine” style is used to receive the high-ranking foreign officials.
