    Avast + Chrome = Help!

For some reason, the Avast anti-virus program keeps telling me expat.ru is a "phishing" site. I have "excluded" it on Avast, but the message keeps popping up and dumping me back to the previous page. If I persist, it's saying "This site could have harmed your computer" and allows no choice but to exit. I wonder if that is because Avast "upgrade" no longer allows you to visit "http" sites, only "https"? I don't have any extensions on Chrome aside from basic Google Docs and Adblock Plus. I will try accessing website tomorrow from different computer, at library, using Chrome, and see what happens. I already talked to the tech guy there at the biblioteka a couple of months ago about why I couldn't access expat.ru there, it was blocked. He changed some settings and now it is unblocked there. Maybe they block anything from outside US with "http," and no "https". I think he made exception for expat.ru.

So I'm stuck for now using IE.

I have to update everything, I'm still using Windows 7, but it says Edge may work on it. My other computer is Vista, but it only runs a big-screen, so I can watch sports from streamhunter.eu, and US TV for overseas - ustvnow.com.

Time to up grade to Windows 10. It has it own security so no need to buy any other. If you use Microsoft's Windows Phone 10 then everything will be synchronized between your phone, computer and laptop. Of course you need to use Cortana and let Microsoft have all your information but it does work great. I hooked up with Family so when I or my wife use the calendar to set appointments we can both see them on our phones or computer. We hooked up find my phone and can see where each other is at anytime from phone or computer. Even my Favorites saved on my phone come up on the computer and of course all photos taken with my phone show on my computer without doing a thing. One Drive just saves them instantly.
