    You do know the media has an agenda? A narrative. And that the BBC is government-approved "news"?

    BBC = Left-wing bigotry = anti-male, anti-white, anti-Christian, anti-business, anti-Russia, anti-Life, anti-prosperity ("rich"), etc.

    BBC "news" is worth less than horse manure, at least one can use horse manure as fertilizer.

    Have the BBC and the equivalent channels in the US, Canada, Australia etc..gone through a transformation in the last 15-20 years?

    During the Yugoslav wars the Muslims were depicted as victims by the BBC and others, which they probably were in certain situations, but the historical context of Orthodox Christians in the Balkans fearing the status of second-class citizens in a state (Bosnia) potentially ruled by Islamic law, having tasted past discrimination under the ottomans, was not explained

    Well, yes, of course there was a transformation - the concentration of ownership in only a few hands following the Telecommunications Act of 1996.

    But you're quite right about the Yugoslav wars.

    Yes, and the CIA were sending in night flights carrying arms / ammunition and explosives to the Muslims over many months in their fight against the Serbs............

    Was it because the Muslims were on the side of those campaigning for the breakup of Yugoslavia (and therefore seen as "one of us") unlike the Serbs who resisted the idea of breaking up the country, and therefore depicted as the "bad" guys (which side suffering more probably less important when geopolitics is involved) ?

    It's always been that way. Go back to the days of Adolf. In the 1920's, in Munich, he became unhinged at the (lack of) coverage, and biased reporting of his National Socialist rallies versus the favorable and complimentary coverage given to the communist rallies. Probably the cause of his hatred of Jews, as they owned the few media outlets in Munchen.

    World War 1 - (The Great War) started by an assassination, but fanned into continental mayhem by the media.

    1898 - the Spanish-American war - more of less ignited by a false flag attack, with tons of help from inflammatory yellow journalists in New York.

    Yes, the US of A saw the war as another way to weaken the former Soviet Bloc / CIS etc, so backed the Muslims in their fight against the Serbs...............not only did the CIA send in Transport Aircraft at night heavily laden with weapons and ammunition, but they also provided scores of advisers to assist the local commanders.

    The Deep State's number one enemy was/is Russia; everything the Deep State does is calculated on the basis - "will this (action) harm Russia"?

    In Yugoslavia, they figured they could splinter and weaken Yugoslavia, seen by them as a Russian ally, by introducing and encouraging cultural and religious conflict, eventually dis-uniting Yugoslavia into several smaller weaker states.

    I hate it when I agree with Tolko Raz!

    TR, I did not copy your post, I was editing my own post a few minutes before you posted. We just happened to post essentially the same reply about the same time.
