    sausages - BECKO-

they also recommend on their instructions to blanch the sausages for 2 to 3 minutes.... as i do with all products.
    sausages raw 570 gr
    sausages blanched 700 gr
    sausages grilled 315 gr
would i buy them again? no, but mainly for the reason they are beef sausages. and for me a sausage should be pork....

Wow Ben , those sausages gave up a lot of liquid and mostly fat I would assume , was there much smoke and spatter ?
I very rarely eat sausages and my wife will never .....if I do then it is only the 90% pork ones I get from a family butcher back in the UK. Never did blanch but will try this , slow fried in a pan with a loose lid on to stop the dreaded spatter .

no, because first i blanch the sausages. than let them just dry a little bit. and grill them slowly. no splatter no smoke. indeed it was a lot of fat...
