Wow Ben , those sausages gave up a lot of liquid and mostly fat I would assume , was there much smoke and spatter ?
I very rarely eat sausages and my wife will never .....if I do then it is only the 90% pork ones I get from a family butcher back in the UK. Never did blanch but will try this , slow fried in a pan with a loose lid on to stop the dreaded spatter .
