    http://www.kdo.ru/

while it is a russian langauge site, Google Chrome will translate, if you have it set up to translate. it shows you the price to rent (or buy) one, or more rooms. it shows which district, if you know already where you will live. or, right on top, fill in how much you want to spend and you will get an answer as well.

if you need a ROOM only, might want to try / Hostels in Moscow/ and you also get an answer.

another variation is this one..https://www.hotelscombined.com/Hotel...er_the_1st.htm ( i just picked this one because i am in this place often, so i know it t is there. though never used it myself)

another one is the /trip advisor/. type in what you want and you get an answer as well.

a ROOM, most probably fair enough in a dormitory, might fit in this range. with a one room in an apartement of 3 or 4 rooms not. apartement, of course the closer one is to the center, the more expensive it gets. also, does that room include a mod com kitchen, super bathroom, wi fi, hi fi, HD and other whatever.

Rental prices on cian.ru are about 1/3 the prices on airbnb!

The first picture looks nice, but what do you get for this? You are getting just the brick shell?

The new owner has to put in wires for electricity, plumbing, do the wood and drywall for interior room divisions? Doors? Windows?

    How much are property taxes?

What happened to all the old babushkas who used to stand around the exits of the main railway stations offering rooms to let ?

Not sure about 6000 R but little bit more, you can get a combined room with sharing basis. A friend of mine is living in a hostel with 3 persons. It costs her about 150 Euros per month with breakfast. It's very safe, don't know the name but it's located on orange line metro near академическая. It's a university area and there are numerous hostels available for multiple ranges.

They were replaced by young girls renting rooms by the hour.

Wow , we've lived in the Akademicheskaya area for 17 years now and it is a really great location. If someone can live in a safe hostel with B&B for that price I would say go for it!

Yeah it is nice and getting nicer down there. I lived in Raminki for 13 years, still have many good friends there.
